Man Killed, 7 Others Hurt In I-55 Crash In Grundy County
Three vehicles were involved in a crash on northbound I-55 Monday afternoon.

GRUNDY COUNTY, IL — A 61-year-old Broadview man was killed Monday in a chain reaction crash on northbound I-55 south of Reed Road in Grundy County, Illinois State Police said. Stephen Fulse was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash after his 2014 Chevrolet Express failed to yield as traffic slowed due to an earlier crash just after 4 p.m., police said.
Fulse's Chevy crashed into a 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan and a 2006 Honda CR-V, according to police. The other two drivers and five passengers were injured in the crash.
The driver of the Dodge, a 44-year-old Downers Grove woman, and her four passengers, were all taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. The driver of the Honda, a 56-year-old Naperville woman, and one passenger in her vehicle with also transported with non-life-threatening injuries.
