The Reavis Ramblers, A.K.A. Jocelyn, her brother Dallas and her parents David and Shellee have set a goal to raise $3,000 in donations this year. Last year’s goal was to raise $2,000 and they received $3,500.

“It’s fun and I like doing it,” said Reavis, adding that she also enjoys the face painting and jumping in the inflatable jump houses before the race begins.

Anyone can walk in the race. The Reavis Family is welcoming anyone who would like to join their team. Registration is at http://www.walknowforautismspeaks.org/chicago/reavisramblers

For those interested in supporting Jocelyn’s efforts, she has a webpage soliciting donation; http://www.walknowforautismspeaks.org/chicago/jocelyn

When she is not fighting for a cause, Reavis enjoys playing tag and hide-and-go-seek with her friends. She also is a member of the Ignite Chanooka Panthers Cheerleading team.

Although she doesn’t partake in other sports, she does enjoy playing them in P.E. class. She even has taken rollerskating lessons at Skateland and in the summer she loves to go swimming in her pool.

Reavis’s favorite animal is a cat, which explains why she has one as a pet. She even adores her three dogs as well.

As like many girls, her favorite color is pink.

And she is a typical kid. She has a penchant for mac ‘n’ cheese. Out of the box of course.
