• Repairs on U.S. Route 6 bridge in Channahon begin this week (shawlocal.com) — Drivers in Channahon should prepare for intermittent daytime lane closures on the U.S. Route 6 bridge over the DuPage River starting Thursday, as IDOT begins repair work expected to last through year's end. The project will replace expansion joints and fix abutments and a culvert, so residents are urged to allow extra travel time and watch for workers and signs.
