• Plainfield police say two people stabbed inside home (shawlocal.com) — Police from Plainfield and neighboring departments, including Channahon, responded after a woman and a juvenile were found with knife-related injuries outside a Plainfield home Thursday night. Officers say the victims fled following a domestic argument that turned violent, and a man later surrendered after a lengthy standoff and remains in custody while charges are pending.
