Possibly the Greatest Summer Fest Ever?
This year's event will feature fireworks on Saturday night along with all the food, drinks, kids' games, and festivities we know and love.
Minooka Summerfest returns June 12 and 13, 2026, bringing two full days of live music, food, family entertainment, games, vendors, and fireworks. That’s right for the first time in years residents can enjoy a Saturday night fireworks display sponsored by the Village of Minooka and Equinix.
Hosted by the Minooka Lions Club, the annual event continues to be one of the community’s signature summer traditions and is expected to draw residents and visitors from throughout the region.
Festivities begin Friday afternoon, June 12, with the Lions Club Free Senior Bingo event at St. Mary’s Minooka Parish Center. Friday night then shifts into festival mode with live music under the Grainger Tent featuring Coverlicious and Headbangers Ball, along with food, drinks, and entertainment throughout the evening.

Saturday’s schedule features a full lineup of activities for all ages beginning with the Summerfest 5K Race and Kids’ Fun Run. Throughout the day attendees can enjoy kids’ games, the Summerfest Market, information booths, food trucks, the annual bean bag tournament, and the Lions Club Pork Chop Lunch.
Family entertainment and performances will take place throughout the day with appearances by Forte Arts Center, T-Rexplorers, Dave Fleming the Magician, Dave DiNaso’s “Traveling World of Reptiles,” the Midwest Crossroads Chorus, and more.

Saturday evening’s live music lineup under the Grainger Tent will feature Exit 122, Nashville Electric Company, and Semple Band.
One of the biggest highlights of the weekend will be the Summerfest fireworks show, sponsored by the Village of Minooka and Equinix, scheduled for approximately 9:00 p.m. Saturday night. Organizers encourage attendees to find a viewing spot on or near the festival grounds to enjoy the display, which will be launching from the south end of Minooka Community High schools property, just north of the “pond lot”.
Food vendors throughout the weekend will include barbecue, pierogis, pretzels, pizza, lemonade, Kona Ice, coffee, and more, giving festivalgoers plenty of options while enjoying the event.
Summerfest 2026 is made possible through the support of the Minooka Lions Club, local sponsors, volunteers, businesses, and community organizations who help make the annual tradition possible.
