Tentative Contract Reached at Minooka District 111
While contract language is currently being finalized, both sides anticipate the MEA will ratify the contract in the coming weeks.

MINOOKA, IL — The Minooka Community High School District 111 Board of Education and the Minooka Education Association have announced a tentative contract agreement following a negotiations session on Tuesday, July 26.
While contract language is currently being finalized, both sides anticipate the MEA will ratify the contract in the coming weeks, which will be followed by the formal approval of the contract by the Board of Education at its Thursday, Aug. 18, meeting.
“It is exciting to have reached a tentative agreement so quickly with the MEA negotiations team,” said Mike Brozovich, MCHS District 111 Board of Education President, in a news release. “They are a great group of people to work with and I am very pleased with the progress we’ve made. It was a very positive experience with the best interests of both sides being considered throughout the entire process.”

Negotiations on the new contract began last spring. Terms of the new contract, which will take the place of the previous three-year contract that expired last month, will be available following Board of Education approval.
