Man Killed in 2nd Shooting on Eisenhower Expressway
UPDATE: Devon Almon, 23, was shot Thursday while riding in a vehicle traveling eastbound on I-290, near the Central Avenue exit.

CHICAGO, IL — A 23-year-old man was killed in a second shooting Thursday along the Eisenhower Expressway, according to the Chicago Tribune.
The latest interstate shooting happened at about 11:50 a.m. near the Central Avenue exit ramp of the eastbound Eisenhower on the West Side, the report stated. Devon Almon was shot while he was the passenger in a vehicle driven by a woman who was uninjured in the shooting, the Tribune reports.
The woman drove Almon to Oak Park's West Suburban Medical Center, and he was pronounced dead less than a half hour later, the report added. A witness told WGN-TV that the victim's vehicle had been "riddled with bullets."

The Central Avenue ramp was temporarily closed while police investigated the scene, the Tribune reports. Police believe this shooting is possibly gang-related and is not connected with the morning incident on the Eisenhower, the report added.

Earlier Thursday, Jonathon Ortiz, 22, was killed and his girlfriend, Alexis Garcia, 22, was critically wounded in a shooting just before 6 a.m. on the Eisenhower, near Laramie Avenue on the West Side, according to reports.
