2 More Charged In Near North Red Line Attacks
Police said four people have now been taken into custody after they were identified in CTA surveillance videos.

CHICAGO — Two more people have been taken into custody after three people were attacked at a CTA Red Line platform on the Near North Side. An 18-year-old and a 15-year-old have been charged with mob action and aggravated battery, police said.
Michael Sardin, 18, turned himself in after a community alert with images of the suspects was released after the attack, police said.
Police said Sardin was part of a mob who attacked three victims at the Chicago Avenue station.

One of the victims suffered "great bodily harm," with fractures, abrasions and lacerations, police said.
A 15-year-old boy has also been taken into custody after someone identified him in the community alert, according to police.

Two other people were taken into custody last week, police said.
