2017 CARA Circuit Race Schedule Announced

Find out which Chicagoland races have been selected to be part of the CARA Choice Circuit.

CHICAGO, IL - The Chicago Area Runners Association has announced its 2017 slate of Choice Circuit races.

The circuit races - “a series of running events intended to create a competitive structure for local runners” according to a CARA news release - will be 15 events in Chicagoland of varying distances in 2017. They were selected by CARA’s race committee and include five new races and 10 which have been part of the circuit in the past.

"The Circuit brings the best of local running together, both races and runners alike. More than just a collection of races, the Circuit is a community of runners who love to challenge themselves through competition and personal improvement,” said Greg Hipp, CARA’s director of road race services and events. “While Circuit competition often draws the most attention, it’s the amazing camaraderie the Circuit promotes among local runners and clubs that makes it so special to CARA."
