8 Fun Things To Do In Chicagoland This Weekend: August 25-27
Comic Con, Cards Against Humanity Live and an old fashioned drive-in movie night are among the places to be in Chicagoland this weekend.

CHICAGO, IL — Fun in all forms comes to Chicagoland this weekend, the last before Labor Day hits and we start thinking about fall fun. A north suburban town will pay homage to Nashville, a North Side neighborhood is hosting its own drive-in movie night and the comic masses will converge in Rosemont for the always fun Comic Con.
Concerts At Wrigley Field: Big musical acts take stage at Wrigley Field this weekend beginning with a Green Day concert on Thursday. Lady Gaga follows on Friday and Florida Georgia Line provides a conclusion to a bisy three-day span on Saturday.
Drive-In Movie: Attendees at Six Corners Portage Park Saturday night will enjoy a big-screen showing of "The Sandlot" from the comfort of their own cars by tuning in through their radios from 8-10 p.m. at 3930 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago. Pedestrians are also welcome and should bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. General car admission is $30, single adult pedestrian tickets are $15 and $5 for children twelve and under. Tickets can be purchased here.

Nashwood: The small city of Highwood on the North Shore will turn into "Nashwood" from Friday until Sunday with an homage to Nashville's Honky Tonk Road. Guests will don cowboy boots and hats as live country music, bluegrass and Southern rock sounds radiate from numerous bars, restaurant, outdoor stages and busker stations.
Chicago Triathlon: The Transamerica Chicago Triathlon event consists of several triathlons in the city on Saturday and Sunday. The International/Olympic event consists of a .93 mile swim, 24.8 mile bike ride and 6.2 mile run.

Wizard World Comic Con Chicago: The comic world comes together at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont for a four-day festival that will bring out several exhibitors.
