SUCCESSFUL ALANO CLUB/HELP HOLLY HELP FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN

Thanks to the HelpHollyHelp $15,000 Grant Challenge opportunity that was graciously provided to the Alano Club of Lahaina, Inc., the Alano Club raised well over $20,000 when the grant challenge ended on December 31, 2016! That was, of course, generously matched with $15,000 from the HelpHollyHelp Foundation!

The grant challenge sparked a fundraising excitement that the Alano Club has not experienced in the past and far exceeded our expectations. Everyone who donated wanted the opportunity to double their donation – a unique feature of the grant challenge.

The power of matching $1 for every $1 raised up to $15,000, was incredible. Everyone in the Alano Club community wanted to participate. The Alano Club received donations from as small as $1 to a high of $2,000. Even those who could not afford to make a personal financial donation found ways to help: One group held a one-day car wash that raised over $500! A second group made Christmas ornaments, sold them for $5 each, and collected over $1,100! Talk about a fundraising team effort!

The HelpHollyHelp Grant Challenge gave the overall fundraising campaign a significant shot in the arm. Over $36,000 was raised between November 15 and December 31, 2016!
