CHICAGO, IL — A body was pulled Saturday from Lake Michigan’s Playpen in Chicago, marking the third water-related emergency to affect the floating hotspot in a week, according to reports.

The body was recovered about 5 p.m. in the 1000 block of North Lake Shore Drive, police said. The victim was identified as 29-year-old Spencer Williams by the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office, which classified the death as an accidental drowning.

On Wednesday, two people fell off a boat at The Playpen, with one brought to a hospital in critical condition, NBC 5 reported. On Aug. 13, two women were severely injured after a boat backed into their inflatable raft, with one losing both her feet, Patch previously reported.
