Bulls' Dwyane Wade Out For Rest Of Regular Season With Bum Elbow
An MRI on Thursday revealed a fracture and strain of the Chicago guard's right elbow. He suffered the injury during Wednesday's game.

CHICAGO, IL — An MRI revealed Thursday that Chicago Bulls guard Dwyane Wade has a small fracture and a sprain of his right elbow, which will bench him for the rest of the NBA's regular season, ESPN reports.
Wade suffered the injury in the second half of Wednesday's game with the Memphis Grizzlies, the report stated. He tried to play through the pain, but he was eventually pulled with 8:35 left in the fourth quarter. The Bulls lost the game, 98-91.
"I told [the training staff] I heard a 'pop, pop.' I said that yesterday," Wade told the media Thursday, March 16, according to ESPN. "Pretty much a dislocation at the time, and it went back in. So kind of dealing with the aftermath of what that looks like, and this is what it looks like."

Doctors will re-evaluate the injury and Wade's rehab in a week, the report stated.
With 14 games left, the Bulls are trying to capture the Eastern Conference's eighth playoff spot, a position currently held by the Detroit Pistons. The Miami Heat also is a game ahead of the Bulls in the standings for that spot.

But Chicago's chances of playing ball past April 12 — the last day of the NBA's regular season — are looking slim. In its last 10 games, the team is 3-7.
