Brush off your shoulder pads and leg warmers—Lincoln Park Community Services (LPCS) invites Chicagoans to party with a purpose at its annual Taste of Fall fundraiser on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 6:00–10:00 p.m. at Ovation Chicago (2324 W. Fulton Street).
This year’s theme, Taste of Fall: 1985, celebrates the year LPCS was founded and honors four decades of providing housing, meals, and supportive services to neighbors experiencing homelessness. Guests will be transported back to 1985 embracing the energy and nostalgia of the era of big hair, neon fashion, The Breakfast Club, Madonna, and Michael Jackson while raising funds to support LPCS’s programs that change lives across Chicago.
Attendees will enjoy delicious food and drinks from some of the city’s favorite restaurants and beverage partners including Geja’s Cafe, Suda’s Lebanese Cuisine, Harvest, Tandoor Char House, The Original Rainbow Cone, Revolution Brewing, and more! Guests will also have the opportunity to bid on exclusive auction packages, ranging from one-of-a-kind experiences to tempting getaways. The evening will feature an awards ceremony honoring three longtime volunteer groups—The Junior League of Chicago, St. Clement Men’s Communio, and the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce Breakfast Clubs—who have been instrumental in advancing LPCS’s mission. The celebration will continue with a lively dance floor, music, nostalgia, and plenty of surprises to keep the energy going strong.
Guests are encouraged to dress in their favorite ‘80s attire—or come in cocktail or business casual. Tickets are $100 per person and can be purchased at www.lpcschicago.org.
