Beginning Sunday, May 17, Amerikas will transform its patio into a lively outdoor taqueria every Sunday afternoon, creating a vibrant cultural gathering space for the residents of Oak Park and surrounding community throughout the summer.
Held each Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., following brunch service, the weekly event invites families, friends, and neighbors to come together to enjoy authentic food, music, and community in a festive open-air setting.
Oaxacan Chef Armando Gonzalez and his team will prepare fresh tacos, featuring carne asada and a vegan option, alongside churros, margaritas, agua frescas, and more. Inside the restaurant, tables will be cleared to make room for music and dancing, bringing the spirit and energy of a traditional neighborhood celebration to Oak Park.
The Outdoor Taqueria begins Sunday, May 17 and continues every Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. throughout the summer.
