Outstanding in the Field, the celebrated roving restaurant without walls, brings its signature long-table dining experience to Oriana’s Orchard in Winslow, Illinois, on Saturday, August 1.
Known for hosting open-air meals at farms, orchards, vineyards and other extraordinary locations, the organization connects diners directly with the people and places behind their food. Guest chefs César Murillo of Michelin-starred North Pond and Devon Quinn of Eden will create a hyper-seasonal feast celebrating farmer Oriana Kruszewski’s organically grown Asian pears, black currants, rare pawpaws and other Midwestern produce, accompanied by wines from Chris and Sarah Pittenger of Gros Ventre Cellars. The event runs from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $390 per person and available at outstandinginthefield.com.
