Nicor Gas to promote natural gas safety at Central Stickney Fire Protection District

Nicor Gas is committed to the safety of every customer and community it serves and is partnering with local fire departments across its Northern Illinois service territory for an annual public education program. This year marks the 21st year of Nicor Gas’ participation in the safety awareness campaign that will run through October, coinciding with National Fire Prevention Week (Oct. 4-10).  

Nicor Gas volunteers will share important information and resources to help families know how to respond in the unlikely event of a natural gas emergency.  Even the youngest of attendees can learn safety tips through this interactive demonstration.
