Violinist Sarah Kim has performed extensively as a chamber musician throughout the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. As a resident artist at the Apple Hill Center for Chamber Music from 2008-2013, Sarah performed with the Apple Hill String Quartet and co-directed sessions in Apple Hill’s Summer Chamber Music Workshop. Through Apple Hill’s innovative Playing for Peace program, Sarah performed and taught chamber music workshops in major conflict areas of the world, including Israel/Palestine, Cyprus, and Ireland. From 2017-2023, Sarah was a Resident Musician with Community MusicWorks, a nationally recognized community-based music performance and education program. In addition to her work at CMW, Sarah taught at the College of Holy Cross in Worcester, MA, and from 2021-2023, Sarah taught violin and chamber music as a Teaching Associate at Brown University. Currently, Sarah teaches violin, viola, and chamber music at Loyola University Chicago and performs with Crossing Borders Music, a string quartet-based ensemble whose mission is to share the stories and music of suppressed and underrepresented people groups. During the summers, Sarah is on the faculty of Kinhaven Senior Session where she also serves as the Strings Coordinator. Sarah has received degrees from Indiana University, Yale School of Music, and Stony Brook University, where her principal teachers were Josef Gingold, Miriam Fried, Peter Oundjian, Pamela Frank, and Phil Setzer.

Eugenia Jeong is a distinguished pianist who has performed across North America, Europe, and Asia, with appearances at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall, Chicago’s Orchestra Hall, Seattle’s Benaroya Hall, the Banff Centre, and the Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage, as well as in India, Israel, and South Korea. She is a top prizewinner of numerous competitions, including the Musicians Club of Women’s Nerenburg Award, the Frances Walton Competition, YoungArts Competition, Thaviu-Isaak Piano Competition, Pauline Lindsey Piano Competition, MTNA Young Artist Competition, and has been featured on WFMT and Classical KING-FM 98.1.Jeong holds Doctor of Musical Arts and Master of Music degrees from Northwestern University under James Giles, and a Bachelor of Music from the Eastman School of Music under Nelita True. Her artistic projects blend creativity and truth, including From Both Sides, a multimedia concert presented by UChicago Presents. She has recorded works by Florence Price with Grammy-nominated artist Michael Hawes, served on the board of New Music Chicago, and previously served as Director of Piano Studies at the University of Chicago for five academic years. She is currently Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Piano Studies at North Park University.
