ESC'S DARRYL MAXIMILIAN ROBINSON AS THEATRE DON MAXIMILIANO SHARES A NEW SPECIAL MESSAGE REGARDING UPCOMING EVENTS!
Following his debut appearance on Labor Day, September 7, 2026 at the LA home of Chicago theatre veteran, ESC Creative Team Member and 2000 Joseph Jefferson Citation Award Winner for Best Ensemble Danny Belrose, Theatre Don Maximiliano sets a few things straight regarding his unexpected visit to Belrose Place in Los Angeles ( where he discussed the activities of the mysterious and elusive Donnie Cusamano), and shares some thoughts regarding the upcoming 2026 Black Theatre Alliance / Ira Aldridge Awards Ceremony to be presented at The Beverly Arts Center, 2407 West 111th Street, in Chicago on October 26th at 6:00 pm as well as the upcoming November 3rd election.
Written and recorded and performed in The Theatre Don's private LA office on Sunday September 13, 2026 by Excaliber Shakespeare Company of Chicago and Excaliber Shakespeare Company Los Angeles Archival Project Founder, Artistic Director and Producer Darryl Maximilian Robinson ( a 52-year-long American stage performer, 1997 Chicago Joseph Jefferson Citation Award Winner for Outstanding Actor In A Principal Role In A Play for his performance as Sam Semela in ESC's acclaimed staging of South African playwright Athol Fugard's "Master Harold and The Boys" presented at the much-missed Heartland Cafe Studio Theatre of Rogers Park, and a previous four-time Chicago Black Theatre Alliance / Ira Aldridge Award Nominee ), this short, comedic video, marks the second sighting of Theatre Don Maximiliano this year.
