Carson's Stores Plan Gift Card Giveaway to First 400 Customers on Dec. 18
Bon-Ton family of department stores is giving away $1 million in gift cards, including Chicago-area Carson's stores this Sunday, Dec. 18.

CHICAGO, IL -- Chicago-area Carson’s stores plan to give away $1 million in gift cards this Sunday as part of a larger promotion by its parent company, Bon-Ton Stores Inc.
Starting at 7 a.m., Sunday, Dec.18, Carson’s stores will be giving the first 400 customers in line a gift card valued between $5 and $500, with one guaranteed $500 winner at every store location. An entrance at each Carson’s location will be identified with signs and open at 6:45 a.m. for customers to line up out of the cold weather before the store opens. It’s Bon-Ton’s way of spreading the holiday love.
“At Bon-Ton we appreciate our customers and we are sharing the joy with them this holiday season during our $1 million gift card giveaway,” Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. president and CEO Kathryn Bufano said in a news release. “As the hometown department store, giving our customers a special surprise when they walk into our store lets them know we care.”
