After Tuesday Break, More Rain For Illinois
Rain is possible Wednesday, Thursday and Friday; with a chance of thunderstorms on Wednesday as well.
ILLINOIS — Showers are possible throughout the week, as temperatures stay in the 60s and 70s, according to the National Weather Service.
Tuesday looks to be the only dry day in the immediate forecast — good news for the White Sox after a rainy Monday — with a high of 74 degrees, according to the weather service.
Wednesday will have a high of 75, with a possibility of rain and then thunderstorms in the late morning and afternoon, the weather service said.

Another round of storms is possible on Wednesday evening, and these storms could end up being severe, but confidence on severe storms occurring is low, the weather service said.

Thursday will have a high of 76, and again rain is likely, especially east of Interstate 55, according to the weather service. The coolest day of the week will be Friday, which looks to have a high of 70, and a chance of rain as well.

Cooler temperatures are expected this weekend, and overnight lows will also start to approach 40 degrees by the end of the week, according to the weather service.
