Chicago Metra Train Derails, Four Taken To Hospital: Reports
The train derailed just before 8 a.m. near East 14th Street and South Prairie Avenue, according to reports.

CHICAGO, IL — Four people were taken to the hospital Saturday morning after a Metra South Shore Line train derailed near South Prairie Avenue and East 14th Street, according to reports. The Chicago Fire Department said in a tweet the derailment happened just before 8 a.m., sending four people to the hospital.

A total of 74 passengers were on board, NBC Chicago reported. Those injured were transported to Northwestern Hospital and are in stable condition, fire officials said.
NBC Chicago reported the train derailed in Chicago's South Loop neighborhood near Museum Campus.
