Cooler Temps and Patchy Frost Possible for Chicago Area
A look at the forecast for the Chicago area for the coming days.

The Chicago area should expect cooler temps for much of this weekend.
Cooler and drier air will filter into the region and a weak cold front will shift winds further onshore through the day on Friday, according to the National Weather Service. Daytime high temperatures will be in the 50s to near 60 degrees both Friday and Saturday throughout the Chicago area but only in the upper 40s near Lake Michigan.
A hazardous weather outlook has been issued for the Chicago area for Friday and Friday night as patchy frost is possible for the outlying areas -- especially north and west of Chicago. There will be a chance for rain and thunderstorms on Tuesday through Thursday of next week.
