Cop Shown Slapping Handcuffed Suspect, Then Punching Him on Medical Table
Video shows suspect Rayshon Gartley was handcuffed when a Chicago police officer slapped and punched him in a medical room.

CHICAGO, IL - One of the several videos released by the Chicago Police Department's Independent Police Review Authority on Friday shows a police officer punching a handcuffed suspect in the face before an apparent medical examination.
Video here shows the handcuffed subject, Rayshon Gartley, wearing a white shirt when led into a medical examination room. About 40 seconds into the video footage, a police officer is shown slapping Gartley in the face, then following up with a few punches after he falls back onto the medical table.
A mostly uneventful 11 minutes of video followed.

According to court records, Gartley has sued the city of Chicago and police officer Clauzell Gause in connection with the incident, which occurred on June 3, 2014, two years to the day before the video was released.
