Metra Shutdown Extended To Tuesday, CTA Service Ends Monday Night
CTA is suspending service at 9:30 p.m. Monday.

CHICAGO, IL — As protests and unrest continue in Chicagoland, Metra is again suspending service on Tuesday "for the safety of the public and our employees.>"
Metra has also suspended all service on Monday "for the safety of the public and our employees," the company said.
All CTA service is also suspended starting at 9:30 p.m. Monday, resuming at 6 a.m. Tuesday.

[Special Note] At request of public safety officials, service suspended on all rail lines and bus routes, eff. 9:30 pm. Services will remain suspended until 6 am Tue.

CTA services to the Loop and Metra services were also suspended Saturday night amid the unrest.
