Cubs, White Sox Spring Training Tickets To Go On Sale

Spring training home openers are set for February for both Chicago teams.

ARIZONA — With frigid wind chills and no end to winter in sight, baseball season may seem a long way off, but spring training will be here before you know it. Both the Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox on Wednesday announced sale dates for spring training tickets.

The Cubs will offer presale tickets to Mastercard holders starting at noon Friday, Jan. 5:
"Fans using a Mastercard can purchase single-game Spring Training tickets in advance of the general on-sale at a 15-percent premium in excess of face value," the Cubs said Wednesday. "Anyone using another form of payment may purchase tickets at a 20-percent premium."

Single-game ticket sales will be available to the general public starting at 11 a.m. Saturday. Tickets are available online at Cubs.com, over the phone at 800-THE-CUBS or in person on Saturday at the Sloan Park ticket office in Mesa, Arizona. Ticket buyers must purchase a minimum six tickets per game and a maximum of four games per order.

The Cubs' 2018 spring training home opener is Feb. 24 against the Texas Rangers in at Sloan Park.

Meanwhile, the White Sox have their spring training home opener set for Feb. 25 against the Cincinnati Reds as they celebrate the 10th anniversary of Camelback Ranch in Phoenix. Tickets go on sale at 11 a.m. Friday online and are available at Whitesox.com/spring or camelbackranchbaseball.com, or by phone at 800-352-0212.

The Phoenix ballpark, which is the spring training home of both the White Sox and the Los Angeles Dodgers, recently added a new scoreboard and more shade to improve the fan experience.

The Cubs and White Sox will face off Sloan Park on Feb. 27 and March 10, and at Camelback Ranch on March 16.
