Dallas Card Show Coming to Schaumburg 5/29-31
Dallas Card Show will have 25 great athletes and dozens of vendors at its show at Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel 5/29-31

Back in the mid-1970s, Brian Baschnagel was one of the first football players I followed from college into the pros. The best part was he went from Ohio State to my Chicago Bears. Unfortunately, despite meeting hundreds of athletes, I have never met Baschnagel.
That is going to change in a few weeks when Baschnagel appears at the Dallas Card Show in Schaumburg. And Baschnagel is just one of 25 sports stars in the guest lineup.
The rest of the lineup includes:

Sunday

Neal Anderson
Colston Loveland
Braylon Edwards
Brian Baschnagel
Anthony Thomas
Tyrone Wheatley
David Terrell
That lineup includes members of the 1985 NFL champion Chicago Bears, legendary Bears, current and past NFL players and young Chicago White Sox stars. What started with me being excited about finally meeting Baschnagel is now me meeting so many athletes.
And that is not all. There will be plenty of vendors, offering trading cards and other cool memorabilia. As I reoganize my card collection, I'll be looking to both sell and buy cards. I am certain there will be other collectibles I will be bringing home, too.
The Dallas Card Show runs Friday, May 29 through Sunday, May 31 at Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel, 1551 N. Thoreau Drive, Schaumburg, IL 60173. That's three days of sports-related fun all in one location.
The Schaumburg show is one of several on the Dallas Card Show schedule this year. There are four more slated for Allen, Texas, as well as other shows in Cincinnati, Houston, New Jersey and one more show in Schaumburg. I'm definitely going to both Schaumburg shows, but I am also keeping an eye on the Cincinnati show guest list. If it is anything like this Schaumburg list, it will be well worth a five hour drive.
For now though, I am concentrating on this upcoming Schaumburg show. I know several of my friends will be there, too. I am sure I will see quite a few in the same autograph lines.
Look for my recap here after the show.
