
CHICAGO, IL — More than 50 flights were reportedly cancelled Thursday morning at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport and Midway due to inclement weather.
With a freezing rain advisory in effect until 9 a.m. and icy road conditions being reported in the Chicago area, travelers were facing flight cancellations and delays.
Early Thursday, O’Hare staff took to Twitter to advise travelers to check their flights before heading to the airport.

By mid-morning, more than 50 flights had been cancelled at O’Hare and Midway airports combined, NBC Chicago reported.
