Fog Causes Over 100 Flight Cancellations At Chicago Airports
Dense fog settled across the Chicago area, causing headaches for many travelers.

CHICAGO, IL — A heavy blanket of fog caused more than 100 flight cancelations at O'Hare and Midway Sunday and Monday morning. A dense fog advisory remained in effect until 3 a.m. Monday, according to the National Weather Service. Visibility was reduced to less than a quarter-mile in certain areas, NWS said.
More than 40 flights were canceled at Midway and dozens of flights were delayed, according to airport authorities. O'Hare also canceled more than 50 flights. Both airports warned travelers to check their flight status before heading out.
The National Weather Service also warned drivers to slow down and use their headlights.
