GEMS World Academy- Chicago Teacher Honored with Golden Apple Award
The Golden Apple Foundation Surprises GEMS World Academy - Chicago Teacher Joseph Cella with Prestigious Award for Excellence in Teaching
Help us spread the word about Joseph Cella, an amazing Pre-K teacher from GEMS World Academy, Chicago, who is one of ten recipients of the prestigious Golden Apple Award for Excellence in Teaching from 600 nominations statewide!
As part of the honor, he will receive a $5,000 cash award and a spring sabbatical provided by Northwestern University at no cost and will be become Fellow of the Golden Apple Academy of Educators, working to prepare the next generation of teachers in the Golden Apple Scholars and Accelerators programs - which are dedicated to addressing the teacher shortage in Illinois.
