HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK: ‘Quick-Hitting’ Snow Expected During Monday Evening Commute
A look at the Chicago area forecast for the week ahead.

Snow showers are expected to continue across northeast Illinois through early Sunday evening. Those heading out should use extra caution driving and be prepared to encounter periodically reduced visibility and a dusting or a coating of snow is possible on some road surfaces, weather officials said.

Then on Monday evening, a quick-hitting batch of snow is expected to move through the Chicago area, according to the National Weather Service.
“Areas standing the best chance for accumulation would be Interstate 88 or 90 northward though some lighter accumulation or a dusting is possible further south,” according to a Hazardous Weather Outlook issued for the Chicago area.
