Hazardous Weather: Thunderstorms and Heavy Rain Possible Wednesday

A hazardous weather outlook has been issued for counties across the Chicago area Wednesday.
A cluster of thunderstorms expected across southern Wisconsin could sag into northern Illinois this morning, according to the National Weather Service. Those storms should weaken as they enter Illinois but still could produce cloud to ground lightning and heavy downpours.
A high in the low 80s are expected today for the Chicago area.
