High School Football Players: Check Out The Chicago Rivals New Speed Combine
High school football players will get a chance to show their stuff, having stats officially recorded getting exposure to college recruiters.

CHICAGO, IL -- This weekend will be the Chicago Rivals New Speed Combine for prospective college football players. From 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 27, teen athletes will be able to attend the event for free training, athletic tests and exposure.
The five-hour event will test the students' 40-yd Dash, Shuttle Run, Vertical Jump, 3-Cone Drill and Broad Jump, all vital statistics for college coaches' decisions when recruiting. Anyone graduating high school between 2018 and 2021 is eligible.
Next College Student Athlete (NCSA), the company running the event, hosts these weekend camps for prospective college athletes. They describe themselves as "the largest and most successful NCAA-compliant athletic recruiting network that matches student-athletes with college coaches."

Hundreds of student athletes are already registered for the Combine at Lane Tech College Prep High School at 2501 W Addison St, Chicago, IL. In-person registration and check-in starts at 8:30 a.m. and the latest you can register is 1:00 p.m.

Izell Reese, a former NFL safety for Dallas, Buffalo and Denver, is an Executive VP at NSCA. A press release says he wasn't on NFL coaches' radars after college, "but due to elite combine numbers, [he] caught the attention of NFL teams and went on to have a seven-year career in the NFL."
The Combine is presented by adidas, who partnered with NSCA and rivals.com to run the event. The national series has seen camps all around the county.
