Illinois at Wisconsin College Football: Everything You Need To Know

Kickoff time, TV, point spread, tickets, parking, traffic and more.

Both Illinois and No. 7 Wisconsin enter this matchup on a high note, after vanquishing Big Ten foes last weekend.

Illinois toppled a reeling Michigan State team at home as the Illini scored 24 second-half points to win a 31-27 shootout over the Spartans. Illinois quarterback Jeff George Jr. showed improvement as he threw for 140 yards and 2 touchdowns, which complemented running back Kendrick Foster’s 146 yards rushing and two scores. George only completed 13 of 29 passes though, and will have to improve that completion percentage considerably if he hopes to spring the upset in Madison, Wisconsin.

The Badgers, as they have done all year, stifled their opponent, Saturday’s victim being Northwestern, as they held the Wildcats to only one score in the 21-7 win. Wisconsin is allowing under 14 points per game and has held all but one opponent under 20 points. The Badgers’ offense rarely lights up the scoreboard, but against Northwestern Wisconsin showed life on the ground as the team ran for 190 yards and 2 touchdowns, led by Corey Clement (106 yards and a score).
