Man Found Dead On CTA Train: Police

He was discovered unresponsive around 5:15 a.m. on a train car on Chicago's North Side, police said.

CHICAGO — A man was found dead Tuesday morning on a CTA train on the North Side, according to police.

He was discovered unresponsive around 5:15 a.m. on a train car in the 900 block of West Belmont Avenue, police said. The location is home to the Belmont CTA station, which serves the Red, Brown and Purple Lines. WGN reported the man was on a Brown Line train.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. Detectives will investigate pending autopsy results, police said.
