Millennium Hall to Host Oktoberfest Celebration in Millennium Park

Millennium Hall is thrilled to announce its highly anticipated Oktoberfest celebration, set to take place on Saturday, September 28, 2024, in the heart of Chicago’s largest beer garden at Millennium Park.

With an all-day lineup of exciting activities and entertainment, this Oktoberfest is the perfect opportunity for friends and families to gather and celebrate in the city’s most iconic outdoor space.

From 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., guests can enjoy a lively atmosphere featuring authentic German beer and food, along with classic Oktoberfest games and competitions. Millennium Hall’s seasonal beer garden transforms into a Bavarian wonderland with:

- Stein Hoisting Contest: Test your strength by holding a full stein—the longest holder wins!
- Pretzel Eating Competition: See if you can finish a giant Bavarian pretzel in one sitting.
- Hammerschlagen: Who can drive the nail into the stump with the most ease?
- Pumpkin Painting, Beer Pong, Photo Booth, and Live Music: Fun activities for everyone to enjoy, creating lasting memories.

For guests looking to indulge in traditional German eats, there will be a variety of food options, including bratwursts, pretzels, and other Bavarian specialties, perfectly paired with collectible litre steins, available for purchase. The steins include one free beer, with $5 refills throughout the event.
