New Video Shows R. Kelly Sexually Assaulting Girl: Attorney
Attorney Michael Avenatti said the video has been handed over to the Cook County state's attorney.

CHICAGO — A disturbing video has surfaced that shows singer R. Kelly sexually assaulting a young girl, according to attorney Michael Avenatti. The 45-minute VHS video had not previously been handed over to law enforcement, he said in a statement released Thursday.
The video includes multiple sex acts with an underage girl, Avenatti said.
Both Kelly and the girl refer to her "14-year-old p---y" and urinate on each other, according to a report by CNN.

Avenatti said he's been working pro bono with multiple clients who have accused Kelly of sexual assault.
"As part of our effort to ensure that Mr. Kelly is finally held accountable for his repeated sexual assaults of minors spanning over two decades, we have provided extensive information, including the videotape described above and witnesses, to Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx in Chicago," Avenatti's statement read.

He said Foxx is a dedicated prosecutor who is committed to "investigating the matter fully."
"We expect to continue to cooperate with her and her colleagues as our investigation continues," his statement read.
Avenatti said Kelly has "preyed on young, vulnerable girls for far too long."
In a statement on Twitter, Kelly's attorney Steve Greenberg maintained his client is innocent.
"As we have said before, #RKelly, since being wrongly-accused years ago, has always followed the law."
Greenberg said he would offer no further comment.
At a press conference in January, Foxx called for any Kelly accusers to come forward. The Cook County state's attorney said she watched Lifetime's release of the damning documentary about the singer, "Surviving R. Kelly."
"I was sickened as a survivor, I was sickened as a mother, I was sickened as a prosecutor," Foxx said.
A Cook County judge has ordered restrictions on a West Loop studio being rented by R. Kelly. City inspectors visited the warehouse in late January and discovered people had been illegally living there, officials said.
