Panera Bread Delivery Comes To Chicago, Suburbs

CHICAGO, IL — Great news for soup and sandwich lovers: Panera Bread is expanding delivery service throughout the greater Chicago area. The Panera delivery service will be available at dozens of stores throughout Chicago, the suburbs and northwest Indiana.
Along with providing this long-awaited form of near-instant food gratification, Panera has added more than 900 jobs throughout the Chicago area. The company hires its own drivers and has created more than 13,000 delivery jobs throughout the country, according to a press release.
Panera Delivery offers the restaurant chain's full lunch and dinner menus between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. seven days a week. Customers will have to meet a $5 minimum for delivery and fork over a nominal $3 delivery fee.
