• Suspect in murder of Chicago OEMC employee detained pending trial (wgntv.com) — A Chicago judge has ordered a man held without pretrial release in the killing of Da'J Flowers, a city OEMC employee found shot multiple times in her Rogers Park condo. Prosecutors say Flowers planned to leave the relationship and that DNA, surveillance video, and phone records link the suspect to the crime before he allegedly fled to Washington state. Her family is now focused on seeking justice and honoring her legacy of service.
