Planet Fitness Prepares For Hyde Park Location

PF Chicago Holdings, Planet Fitness’s regional developer, is joining forces with Dr. Gregory Primus, former Chicago Bears player, Board Certified orthopedic surgeon and founder of The Chicago Center for Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Surgery, to restore an iconic tennis center into a comprehensive health and wellness facility for the community, anchored by Planet Fitness.

Over the coming weeks, the space will be transformed into a state-of-the art Planet Fitness facility with spa-quality locker rooms and showers, high-tech Life Fitness cardio equipment with personal multi-media consoles that members can watch movies, take virtual runs through the Grand Canyon, listen to music, manage their membership and much more while working out. The new Hyde Park location will feature over 200 pieces of state-of the art cardio and strength equipment, a 30-minute express circuit and a cardio theatre; fully equipped locker rooms, massage chairs, hydromassage beds, tanning and beauty angel skin therapy. The club will be open 24 hours/five days a week from Monday 12:00 a.m. – Friday 9:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. on the weekends.
