Police Union Fights Recommendation To Fire Officer Who Used Slur

CHICAGO — A Chicago Police officer was caught on video hurling a homophobic slur at a protester during civil unrest in the downtown area on Saturday, May 30, and the police union does not agree with the recommendation that he be fired.
