StarrCast VI Coming This Weekend

StarrCast VI is coming September 1-3. Next weekend, the Hyatt Regency Schaumburg will be filled with wrestling legends and stars, vendors and thousands of fans.

Debuting in 2018 in Schaumburg, this will be the third StarrCast held there. StarrCast II was held in Paradise, Nevada, followed by a return to Schaumburg. Then StarrCast went east to Baltimore and Nashville, before coming back to Schaumburg this year.

The guest lineup is amazing. I could start with Sting, one of the all-time greats, Jon Moxley, one of the current greats and Billie Starkz, a future great. I could also go with Jeff Jarrett, Britt Baker and Skye Blue for past, present and future greats. Actually, I could go in many directions, as the list lengthy and filled with greats from different eras and companies. At the time of this writing, the list was nearing 100 wrestling legends and stars.

When I was young, I could only imagine meeting these larger-than-life figures. As an adult, I saw the growth of comic cons, which occasionally saw the inclusion of a couple wrestling stars. StarrCast takes the concept to the extreme, to borrow a phrase from Extreme Championship Wrestling, which will also be represented here by a few stars including the Blue Meanie.

For me, the focus is meeting the wrestlers, but there is plenty of other fun stuff. There are panels, Q&A's, photo-ops and more.

There will also be several vendors offering cool wrestling merchandise. Some of my faorites include Pro Wrestling Tees (where you can purchase one of my shirts), artist AJ Moore, 2econd Wrestling (a great company based in the Chicago area)_ and artist Erik Hodson.

StarrCast VI will be three days of amazing fun. There is so much to do, you really need to plan ahead to make certain you get it all done, but that's the fun of it. I love the buzz.

I can't wait and I hope to see lots of friends there. I will provide recaps here and on social media.
