Students Hold Toy Drive For Chance The Rapper's Charity Event
High school athletes collected 10,000 toys for thousands of children in the Chicago area.

CHICAGO, IL — High school athletes from the Chicago area collected thousands of gifts for children over the past month. The athletes collected about 10,000 toys for the Making a Difference On And Off The Field campaign, presented by Buddy's Helpers and the PepsiCo Showdown. The toys were delivered to the Field Museum for Chance the Rapper's charity event A Night At The Museum.
The event, hosted by Chance's charity SocialWorks, was held Wednesday evening. Guests brought coats, gloves, hats, scarves, socks and canned food to donate to the city's homeless.
The high school athletes who collected toys for the museum event are all competitors in the PepsiCo Tournament—the largest high school soccer tournament in the United States.
