Train Hits, Kills Teen Reported Missing After Lollapalooza
Sincere Ash, 17, was reported missing after Sunday's Lollapalooza events downtown before he was found dead.

CHICAGO, IL — A Lane Tech student was killed Sunday evening when he was hit by a Metra train less than two hours after he went missing. WGN reported a Metra spokesperson confirmed 17-year-old Sincere Ash was hit by a Metra Union Pacific train near the Clybourn Station on North Ashland, and was found dead at the scene around 6 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
Ash was last seen around 4:15 p.m. Sunday at Lollapalooza, according to a missing person flier posted on social media, and Chicago police said a missing person report had been filed for the Chicago teen.
A GoFundMe page has been set up in hopes of helping Ash's family cover funeral expenses and to establish a memorial in his name. Just under $22,000 of the $25,000 has been raised.

Ash would have been a senior at Lane Tech College Prep High School on the city's North Side, and is described on the GoFundMe page as a "unique and beautiful friend, brother, family member, and son."

Patch reported a 16-year-old Mundelein teen was found unresponsive Sunday night in Chicago before dying at a local hospital after Lollapalooza. Evan Kitzmiller's cause of death has not yet been reported.
