1) Uber Eats and Chicago reach $10 million settlement over deceptive practices. The City of Chicago announced that Uber has agreed to a settlement stemming from an investigation into UberEats' practices of listing Chicago restaurants on their platforms without the restaurants' consent, violating the City's emergency fee cap ordinance and other advertising-related conduct. The settlement includes $500,000 set aside for restaurants listed on the platform without their consent.

2) Paleontologists to study Field Museum's Sue to understand why T. rex arms are short. Sue's right arm was removed yesterday and will be CT scanned tomorrow at the University of Chicago. The scans will be used to create computer models that will give scientists a better understanding of T. rex muscles and joints. Paleontologists hope to understand how the dinosaur's short arms were used and why they were needed. Sue has the most complete T. rex arms, with only a few others in the world.

3) Obama Presidential Center seeking local restaurants to run food operations. The Obama Foundation is looking for a partner to oversee food operations at the future Obama Presidential Center. The Center will feature a restaurant, grab-and-go café and food catering for on-site events. Applicants need five years of experience and a track record of providing quick meals to large groups. The foundation hopes vendors join together to submit proposals.

4) Chicago ranked second 'worst' city for drivers in U.S., new study reveals. The study looked at several factors, such as congestion levels, number and length of traffic jams, hours lost during congestion, driving speeds and distracted driving fatalities. Chicago was ranked second on a list of about 50 cities, with New York taking the top spot.

5) Tatas Tacos releases La Rubia, a lime blonde ale, in partnership with Jefferson Park Brewery. La Rubia, which means "blonde" in Spanish, is Tatas Tacos' first official beer. The lime blonde, brewed by Jefferson Park's Printer's Row Brewing, is available at the Tatas Tacos' Portage Park, Six Corners and Lakeview locations. The business collaboration was made possible after Ald. Nick Sposato (38th) connected both business owners.
