Want To Win Chicago Cubs Tickets? Be In Millennium Park Thursday Afternoon
Fans will be able to participate in a whiffle ball home run derby to score a pair of single-game tickets.

CHICAGO, IL — Single-game tickets for the Chicago Cubs go on sale Friday morning, but fans who head to Millennium Park on Thursday afternoon not only will have a chance to score tickets early, they'll be able to get them for free.
The Cubs will give away tickets from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, at the South Promenade of Millennium Park, the team announced on Twitter. Fans will compete in a whiffle ball home run derby, and sluggers who knock the ball out of one of the Cubs' "mobile ballparks" will win a pair of tickets.
The official sale for single-game tickets begins at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 24. In December, the World Series champions announced a 19.5 percent increase in the price of the average season ticket, the second consecutive year of a double-digit average price increase.
