Weekend Snowfall Totals For Chicago Area
Chicago tied for the longest stretch of consecutive days with measurable snow after see nine straight days of snow.

It's been a snowy week – actually, a snowy nine days – for the Chicago area. On Sunday, Chicago tied for the longest stretch of consecutive days with measurable snow, which was nine straight days from Feb. 3 through Feb. 11. This has only happened two other times since 1885, according to the National Weather Service.
And while the snowstorm last Thursday night and Friday morning dropped over a foot of snow for portions of the Chicago area, accumulating snow was also recorded on Saturday and Sunday. Here is a look at two day snowfall totals – from 7 a.m. on Saturday until 7 a.m. on Monday – for Chicagoland:

There is no snow in the forecast for Chicagoland Monday. High temps between 17 to 25 degrees were in the forecast. The area will see a slight warm up through Thursday. Patchy drizzle and rain showers are in the forecast from Wednesday into Thursday. Snow is in the forecast Thursday night but should not produce as much accumulation as we've seen in recent days.
