DYERSVILLE, IOWA — Don't expect "Shoeless" Joe Jackson or Eddie Cicotte — members of the Chicago White Sox 100 years ago — to emerge from the corn, but do expect to see Yoan Moncada, Tim Anderson and other members of the current White Sox roster to make a few plays on the original "Field of Dreams" in Iowa next year. The White Sox will play the New York Yankees at the diamond used in the classic 1988 movie in a game scheduled for Aug. 13, 2020, Sports Illustrated was the first to report.

Work still has to be done on the Iowa location, which has become a popular tourist location for baseball fans across the nation. Major League Baseball will begin construction soon on a temporary, 8,000-seat ballpark at the site, according to the SI report.

The venue likely means tickets will be even harder to get than the usual Chicago-New York showdown.
