• Black Maternal Health Week concludes with focus on Black maternity, infant mortality rates (wgntv.com) — Chicago Heights families can connect with maternal health resources at a free Pregnancy and Community Wellness Event on Saturday, May 16, at the Chicago Heights Park District Recreation Center. Hosted by Meridian and March of Dimes, the gathering will spotlight Black maternal and infant health disparities while offering workshops, a farmers market, and free diapers and wipes to support local parents.
