LYNWOOD, IL — A pedestrian killed in a hit-and-run on I-394 in Lynwood Monday has been identified as a 20-year-old Sauk Village woman.
State police were called to I-394 southbound at Joe Orr Road at 12:01 a.m. Monday, for a report of a hit-and-run involving a female pedestrian. The vehicle fled the scene.
The woman—now identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner as Mariah Ford—was transported to an area hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Illinois State Police are investigating.
